Dr. Adam Drees O.D.

Dr. Adam Drees, O.D. has been a proud resident of the great state of Texas since July 2010. Dr. Drees graduated from Kansas State University in 2005. He then graduated Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2009. Educational honors include memberships in Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Tomb and Key Honor Society, as well as recognition on the Dean’s list in both Academic and Clinical excellence.

After Graduation from the Illinois College of Optometry Dr. Drees went on to receive advanced training by completing his Family Practice Residency at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry and WW Hastings Cherokee Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. His time during his residency gave him the experience to diagnose and treat advanced ocular disease, perform minor surgical techniques, fit advanced/post surgical contact lenses, as well as provide routine annual eye health exams.

After Graduation from the Illinois College of Optometry Dr. Drees went on to receive advanced training by completing his Family Practice Residency at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry and WW Hastings Cherokee Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. His time during his residency gave him the experience to diagnose and treat advanced ocular disease, perform minor surgical techniques, fit advanced/post surgical contact lenses, as well as provide routine annual eye health exams.

He is past Chairman of the Board for the Westlake Chamber of Commerce as well as President of the Kansas State Austin Alumni Catbackers.  He enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Dr. Amy Stevens-Drees, daughter Bellamy, and Cairn Terrier, Beatrice. Hobbies include snow skiing, hunting, and “anything on the water!”
