Vision Insurance and Billing at Westlake Hills Vision Center
As a courtesy to our patients, Westlake Hills Vision Center will help file your vision insurance claims using Anagram, if we are able to. Once we have filed your claim, the insurance company will process and reimburse you directly according to the terms of your policy. Payment for services at Westlake Hills Vision Center is due to our office at the time of your visit. Partial payments cannot be made at the time of service unless a financing plan is agreed upon and signed in the office.
Financing
Our office is proud to offer CareCredit and Alpheaon to any patients as a financing option to help patients with the cost of frames, glasses lenses, IPL, RF, ZEST, specialty contact lenses. Simply click on the logos to apply, and let our office know that you are planning to use financing. We can also apply in office at the time of purchase.
For existing patients who have not missed any payments on a payment plan in the past we can also offer an in house payment plan. We collect half down and the rest can be put on a 6 month interest free payment plan. Be sure to let our team know if this is an option you would like.
CareCredit and Alpheaon
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed to finance health, beauty, and wellness needs. Alpheaon is a financing program. This program allows you to immediately get the care you need, including preventative procedures, which might not be covered by your insurance plan, and pay for it over time with flexible financing options.
Here’s how you can benefit from using CareCredit or Alpheaon at Westlake Hills Vision Center:
Immediate Access to Care: Begin your treatment immediately without delay, which is especially crucial for progressive conditions.
Flexible Payment Plans: CareCredit offers short-term financing options of 6, 12, or 18 months with no interest charged on purchases of $200 or more when you make the minimum monthly payments and pay the total amount due by the end of the promotional period. Alpheaon offers 12 months interest free.
Long-term Financing: For larger purchases, CareCredit provides long-term financing for 24, 36, 48, or 60 months with reduced APR and fixed monthly payments required until paid in full.
Widely Accepted: Use CareCredit for follow-ups or different procedures without the need to reapply, as long as you have credit available.
To apply for CareCredit, simply click on the CareCredit logo. This will guide you through the application process, which usually provides a quick decision. Please inform our office if you plan to use CareCredit so we can prepare your billing accordingly and discuss the best payment plans for your treatment.
While Westlake Hills Vision Center will handle submitting your vision insurance claim, please be aware that ensuring reimbursement is ultimately the patient's responsibility. Issues regarding a patient’s policy terms, deductible amounts, or insurance claims are the patient's responsibility.
Please keep the following in mind regarding your vision insurance plan:
- Your insurance company will reimburse you directly for payments.
- Please allow 30 to 60 days after billing for insurance payment to be received.
- Vision insurance benefits, including deductibles and potential discount plans, are determined by your employer and may affect the portion of your reimbursable bill.
Westlake Hills Vision Center will help you file to your insurance company if we are able.
- We will file your insurance claims using the information provided at the end of your appointment.
- Once we file the insurance claim, we will send you a copy of it via email.
- We will file for the maximum reimbursement unless you request otherwise BEFORE filing. This means we will file for every service available through your insurance that you used when you were in.
Our customers must provide all necessary information during service so we can correctly process your payment and insurance claims.
After filing, directly check with your insurance company about the status of your claim. Insurance companies will not communicate with our office regarding these claims due to our out of network status. They are not authorized to say anything. After the claim is filed you will have to follow up on the claim directly with your insurance provider.
